What is the ruling on speeding in a car to catch the prayer, and does it have the same ruling as someone who speeds on foot for that purpose?

A Muslim must observe calmness and dignity when going to the mosque, and should not rush unless there is a fear of missing the congregational prayer, provided that dignity is maintained. The same applies to driving a car; it is not permissible to speed in a way that leads to violating traffic laws, disturbing others, or terrifying them. As for rushing that does not contradict calmness and dignity, such as the Prophet’s acceleration when there was ample space on the road, it is permissible to catch the prayer. Malik also permitted a slight acceleration of the riding animal to catch the prayer, as long as it does not exceed the bounds of dignity.
