What is to be done when afflictions abound and life is hindered, and when one falls into some sins; and how does Allah's relief come, and salvation from this difficult life; and how can change be made to win Allah's favor?

This world is a place of trial and test, and the servant must be content with Allah’s decree and destiny, showing gratitude in prosperity and patience in adversity. Among the causes of tribulations are committing sins and not being content with Allah’s decree. Allah Almighty said: "And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is because of what your hands have earned, and He pardons much."

Therefore, one must hasten to repent and be sincere in their actions, rid themselves of religious transgressions, and turn to Allah through supplication in the last third of the night. Relief comes with patience, seeking refuge in Allah, and genuine uprightness. When addressing Allah, one must choose appropriate expressions, and it is not permissible to use the phrase "How can I win over," for Allah is only described by what He has described Himself with or through His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him.
