What should a person do if they reach despair and feel that Allah does not want them and will not accept their repentance, despite frequent supplication, repentance, and seeking forgiveness, and that hope has become an illusion, and thoughts of suicide accompany them?

Life is full of praise be to Allah in all circumstances. Remember the prophetic supplications during prayer, and that the servant affirms Allah Almighty's perfect divinity, purifies Him from all deficiencies, and admits his own injustice and transgression. This is the first gate to the servant's salvation. Tribulation is not a sign of Allah's wrath; rather, it may be a test, an expiation for sins, or an elevation of ranks. The prophets were the most afflicted people. One should not despair of Allah's mercy, but rather have good expectations of Him and repent to Him, for Allah may replace bad deeds with good ones.
