Does the sin I committed on Laylat al-Qadr overshadow the acts of obedience I performed on that night?

A Muslim must avoid sins, especially during virtuous times like seasons of mercy, such as the last ten nights of Ramadan (definition), because sins may deprive a servant of the blessings of those nights. Indeed, evil deeds may invalidate good deeds. Repentance and seeking forgiveness for what has been done are obligatory, as is asking Allah to accept righteous deeds.
