The prohibition of this act has been previously explained. It is incumbent upon the one who commits it to strive against their self (nafs), to distance themselves from lust-provoking stimuli, and to engage in their antidotes. Masturbation due to necessity has a special ruling. It is impermissible for him to keep the doll because it is a forbidden image and a cause for arousing lust. And whoever is afflicted with a sin, let him conceal it and not publicize it, for publicizing it is another sin.
