Is the daughter sinful if she refuses to donate her kidney to her father, who is suffering from kidney failure, due to her fear for her health (after a gallbladder removal) and her three children?

It is permissible to donate a kidney to a parent if medical examinations confirm its benefit for the patient and success of the operation is highly probable, provided that no harm befalls the donor. The Permanent Committee has issued a fatwa permitting a son to donate to his father. Sheikh Ibn Baz mentioned that there is no harm in donating if doctors determine there is no danger to the donor, and that the donor will be rewarded for their kindness. Nevertheless, you are not obligated to donate to your father, and there is no sin upon you for refusing, but if you do donate, you will be considered a benevolent person and rewarded.
