Does a partner who previously volunteered to supervise the construction of a residential tower for the partners, without an agreement on remuneration, deserve to claim wages for his supervision?

If someone performs work for another without an agreement on wages, the default is that it is a voluntary act, and they do not have the right to demand anything. However, if it is known that they earn a living from this type of work, then they are entitled to the 'wage of the like' (a reasonable wage for similar work). So, whoever is not known for providing that service for a fee, it is not permissible for them to demand anything.
