The oath you have taken cannot be recanted or absolved except by performing its expiation (). If the benefit necessitates breaking your oath, then do so, in compliance with the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever takes an oath and then sees something better than it, let him do what is better and expiate for his oath."
