What is your opinion on a foreign Jewish soccer player wearing a T-shirt?

Imitating disbelievers is forbidden in Islamic law if it pertains to things exclusive to them. However, if something becomes widespread among Muslims and is no longer distinctive to disbelievers, it ceases to fall under the meaning of forbidden imitation, even if its origin was from them.

Nonetheless, if there is an intention to imitate and emulate because certain disbelievers are known for a particular thing, then imitating them is forbidden, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them."

Accordingly, wearing what is called a "T-shirt" becomes forbidden if it bears a design famous for a disbeliever, or for a Muslim known for immorality, depravity, injustice, or innovation in religion; because apparent resemblance breeds inner affection and love.
