What is the ruling on a committed wife marrying her husband who does not pray due to obsessive-compulsive disorder, refuses treatment, and causes disputes due to his non-adherence to Sharia?

The questioner is advised to supplicate frequently for her husband's healing and improvement of his condition, to continue advising him kindly, and to be patient with him. She should also involve some righteous individuals whom he might listen to. The husband must strive against his own self, perform the prayers, and be diligent in them, as these whisperings do not justify him abandoning them. Abandoning prayer is a grave matter, but the majority of scholars do not consider one who abandons it out of negligence to be an infidel, and therefore her marriage to him is not dissolved.
