Repentance from masturbation is required because it is forbidden, and one should resort to legitimate ways such as fasting to get rid of lust. Regarding the treatment of the husband, he must associate with his wife in a way that brings about relief. If he cannot or refuses, the wife has the choice between:
1- Accepting the situation and waiving her right. 2- Raising the matter to the courts. 3- Advising the husband and warning him of Allah if it is proven that he has unlawful relationships."
