What is the correct chronological order of the prophets and messengers from Adam to Muhammad, peace be upon them?

All of Allah’s prophets and messengers were not mentioned in the Quran; rather, twenty-five of them were named. The first of the prophets was Adam, followed by his descendants like Seth, Enoch (Idris), and Noah, then Hud and Saleh, then Abraham, who was contemporary with Lot, then Shu’ayb. They were followed by Abraham’s sons, Ishmael and Isaac, then Jacob, Joseph, Job, Dhu al-Kifl, and Jonah. After them came Moses and Aaron, and contemporary with them were al-Khidr and Joshua son of Nun. They were followed by Elijah and Elisha, then the prophet of the Children of Israel to whom Talut (Saul) was sent, then David and Solomon. After them came Zechariah, John (Yahya), and Jesus, and the seal of the prophets, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. It should be noted that the order of the prophets is based on what is stated in the texts of Islamic law. As for what has been narrated by the People of the Book, one should pause and neither affirm nor deny it.
