Is the phrase "You are divorced" an explicit pronouncement of divorce (Sareeh) or an ambiguous one (Kinayah)? Does divorce take effect with it if the husband intends swiftness? And is the wife obliged to ask her husband about his intention?

It appears that the questioner is very much affected by obsessive thoughts concerning divorce. She should stop indulging in these obsessive thoughts and ignore them completely. Her question was previously answered in Fatwa No. 146109, and she is not obliged to ask her husband about his intention, as explained in Fatwa No. 121640.
