The scenes the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, witnessed on the night of Al-Isra wal-Mi'raj were many. Among them was his seeing women suspended by their breasts. When he inquired about them, he was told: "These are the adulteresses," or "those who kill their children," or "the backbiters who spread slander." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed women on the night of Al-Isra that he saw them as the majority of the inhabitants of Hellfire, and he urged them to give charity.
