How can a young man and woman who wish to marry be helped to change the young man's unlawful source of livelihood to a lawful one, knowing that the young man is aware of the young woman's loss of virginity and they both insist on marrying?

If the money was usurped, it must be returned to its owner, and it is not permissible to take anything from it, because consuming people's wealth unjustly is forbidden, and its perpetrator is threatened with severe punishment in this world and the hereafter. However, if it does not belong to anyone and was taken in exchange for something forbidden, it must be given to the poor and needy and spent on charitable causes. The poor young man who took the money may take from it what he needs for marriage or a lawful project after his repentance.

It is imperative to be aware of the danger of illicit relationships due to the sin involved and the dire consequences of falling into indecency. If the young man proposes marriage, then that is good; otherwise, he must be avoided. Allah has threatened those who follow their desires with Hell, and has made Paradise for those who feared the station of their Lord and restrained their souls from desires.
