How can one deal with parents who abuse and plot against him, damage his reputation among people, and describe him as insane and mentally disturbed, after he was once a source of their pride, and who curse and insult religion, and how can the truth be revealed to people who see nothing but righteousness and piety from them?

We advise you to seek refuge in Allah through supplication and humility, to be patient with your parents' bad behavior, not to mistreat them, to strive to guide them to the truth, and to seek help from righteous people. You have the right to politely and gracefully defend yourself against accusations, and to speak frankly with relatives to reveal the truth if you expect a benefit from doing so. You should also recite the Quran, remember Allah, seek forgiveness, and fill your free time with what is beneficial.
