What is to be said to a person who rejects every attempt at persuasion or understanding on the pretext that there is no verse or hadith to support it?

Anything that becomes a symbol for the people of transgression and disobedient ones is not permissible to do, due to the general saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them." And whoever imitates the transgressors will be humiliated and forsaken. And this mentioned act is done by some transgressors during disputes and quarrels.
