What is the ruling on watching exciting "action" videos – taking care that they are not lewd – for the purpose of improving English, knowing that I perform the five daily prayers?

A person is accountable for their life, youth, and wealth. Watching movies is a waste of time and money, and it may include forbidden things like images of unveiled women, the exposure of 'awrah (intimate parts), and music. English can be learned through permissible means. Therefore, it is advised to avoid watching these movies, as they diminish faith, preoccupy the heart, and may incur the wrath of the Lord.
