The virtuous scholars: It is requested to present the articles of the scholarly critics about the hadiths regarding the creation of the Prophet, peace be upon him, from light and the creation of creatures from him, and Adam reading the name of Muhammad on the Throne and the foreheads of the angels, while avoiding the statements of contemporary scholars, Ibn al-Qayyim, and Al-Albani, because the disputants will retract their belief if the weakness of the hadiths is proven from sources other than theirs, knowing that they do not accept the verses of human creation and have strange interpretations regarding them.
Among the most well-known of these hadiths is the hadith of Abd al-Razzaq, which indicates that the first creation of Allah was the light of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad ibn Abd al-Qadir al-Shinqiti authored a treatise explaining its status and judged it to be fabricated, as did the Moroccan scholar al-Hafiz al-Ghumari. As for the hadith: "I and Ali were created from light," it is fabricated, as al-Shawkani stated, because its chain of narrators includes Ja'far ibn Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Bayan, who was a Rafidi and a fabricator. The hadith: "Allah created me from His light and created Abu Bakr from my light" is false. Al-Dhahabi said: This is a lie, and the affliction is from Ahmad ibn Yusuf al-Masihi. Concerning the hadith of Adam seeing the name of Muhammad on the Throne, al-Dhahabi said that it is fabricated. Its chain of narrators includes Abd al-Rahman ibn Zaid ibn Aslam, whom al-Bukhari and al-Nasa'i considered weak. Ibn al-Jawzi said: They have all agreed upon his weakness. Al-Dhahabi, Ibn Hajar, Ibn Abd al-Hadi, and al-Sahsawani have all agreed upon the falsehood of this hadith.
