1. If the Imam makes a mistake in reciting Al-Fatihah that distorts the meaning, then his leading of the prayer is invalid. Otherwise, his prayer is valid as long as he does not commit a forbidden act in his recitation.

2. The prayer of the congregants is valid unless they are aware of the invalidity of their Imam's prayer.
