Is it permissible to adopt the ruling of the Hanafi school of thought regarding the issue of swallowing blood present in the mouth during a Ramadan fast?

It is not permissible for a fasting person to swallow blood in their mouth. Whoever intentionally does so commits a sin, and their fast is invalidated according to the majority of scholars. The Hanafis hold that the fast is invalidated if blood overwhelms the saliva and reaches the stomach, but if saliva overwhelms the blood, the fast is not invalidated. The more cautious approach is to adopt the view of the majority. However, there is no sin upon a layperson who follows the Hanafi opinion if they are imitating someone they trust.
