Is swearing on the Qur'an falsely rendered void if the swearer is not in a state of ritual purity (wudu') and harbors an intention to lie?

The questioner erred by touching the Mushaf (definition) while not in a state of purity, and by swearing falsely, which is an immersion oath (al-yameen al-ghamūs) that plunges its swearer into sin. She must offer sincere repentance, restore rights to their owners, and it is more precautionary for her to offer expiation for her oath. If the lie was out of necessity, it is permissible, but dissimulation (tawriyah) is preferable.
