Why do we pray facing the Kaaba instead of Jerusalem, and why was the Qibla changed? And why did Allah create the Kaaba on Earth, and what are the scientific miracles in the Qur’an?

Muslims used to pray towards Jerusalem until the verse was revealed: "So turn your face toward Al-Masjid Al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] are, turn your faces toward it [in prayer]." Therefore, we pray towards the Kaaba because Allah commanded us to do so. Allah created the Kaaba for great wisdoms, among them:

1. "Allah has made the Kaaba, the Sacred House, a [means of] support for the people": Their religious and worldly affairs are upheld by it, their Islam is completed through it, and they receive bounties. 2. "And [mention] when We made the House a place of return for the people and [a place of] security": A place to which they return for their religious and worldly benefits, and a safe place for everyone. 3. "Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Bakkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds": The first house established for the worship and rituals of people, and it is blessed and a guidance for the worlds.
