Who moved the Kaaba to its current location?

The Holy Kaaba was not moved; rather, it was built in its current location. Scholars differed concerning its builder: some said it was the angels, some said Adam (peace be upon him), and some said Abraham (peace be upon him). Allah Almighty mentioned in the Quran that Abraham and Ishmael raised the foundations of the House, and that it is the Qibla for Muslims in their prayers and rituals of Hajj and Umrah. Its construction has been renewed several times.
