Who was the first to circumambulate the Kaaba?

Imam Al-Qurtubi mentioned two opinions regarding the foundation of the Haram House (Kaaba): The first is that the angels were the first to found it and circumambulate it, and the second is that Adam (peace be upon him) was the first to found it and circumambulate it. Ibn Kathir mentioned that Jibreel commanded Adam to build the Kaaba and circumambulate it, but the hadith reported regarding this is weak.
