Why is delaying the pronouncement beyond the time of need not considered impermissible in the case of someone who slept through a prayer or forgot it and then prayed it after another prayer, given the Prophet's saying, "Whoever sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers it," and considering the obligation of observing the proper sequence when making up prayers?

If someone prays Asr and then remembers they haven't prayed Dhuhr, they must pray Dhuhr. It is also recommended for them to repeat Asr afterward, in consideration of the obligation to observe the proper sequence between missed prayers and the current obligatory prayer, according to the Hanafis, Malikis, and Hanbalis. They cited as proof the hadith (definition): "Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps through it, its expiation is to pray it when he remembers it." They also cited what was reported from Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, concerning someone who forgot a prayer while with the Imam, and what occurred with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, during the Battle of Al-Ahzab, when he repeated Maghrib after having prayed the missed Asr prayer.
