Is it permissible to say, "Praise be to Allah for the blessing of Paradise"?

Prostration of thankfulness (sujud (definition) al-shukr) is prescribed upon the renewal of apparent blessings or the warding off of calamities, whether these are specific to an individual or general to Muslims. It is not prescribed for the continuation of blessings. The proof for this is that the Prophet (peace be upon him) "would prostrate in thankfulness to Allah when he received news of joy or was given glad tidings." Prostration is not prescribed when reading about Paradise or contemplating its delights, as this was not reported from the Salaf, and because Paradise is not considered a blessing for an individual unless they actually enter it. Furthermore, entry into Paradise is not known to anyone, and none of those given glad tidings of Paradise prostrated upon receiving that good news. The prostration of thankfulness differs from absolute prostration; the more correct view is that prostrating to Allah without a specific reason that necessitates a prostration of thankfulness is impermissible, as it may be considered an innovation.
