What is said in the prostration of thankfulness (sujud al-shukr)? Is "Subhan Rabbi al-A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) said in it, or another formula of thankfulness?

If a Muslim receives something that pleases him, he prostrates in gratitude to Allah. In this prostration, glorification, gratitude, and praise are legislated. He praises Allah for the blessing or for the warding off of a calamity. What is legislated is for him to say in his prostration: "Subhana Rabbiyal-A'la (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High)," and to supplicate to Allah, praise Him, and thank Him. It is also sunnah to say: "Allahumma laka sajadtu, wa bika amantu, wa laka aslamtu, sajada wajhi lilladhi khalaqahu wa sawwarahu wa shaqqa sam'ahu wa basarahu bi hawlihi wa quwwatihi, tabarak Allahu ahsanul-khaliqin (O Allah, to You I have prostrated, in You I have believed, and to You I have submitted. My face has prostrated to the One who created it, fashioned it, and gave it hearing and sight by His power and might. Blessed be Allah, the Best of creators)."
