Is it permissible to drink water with the intention of healing or provision for another person?

It has not been explicitly stated that a person should drink Zamzam water for the sake of another. However, some scholars view the Hadith, "Zamzam water is for what it is drunk for," as general, encompassing all matters. It benefits the drinker for whatever purpose they drink it, whether it pertains to worldly affairs or the Hereafter.
