Is there any obligation upon a husband for passing the Miqat by plane, making the Talbiyah, and intending 'Umrah without wearing the Ihram due to work, and is he required to go to the Miqat of the people of Makkah, or can he wear the Ihram from Jeddah to perform 'Umrah?

If a husband assumes ihram from the Miqat, he must immediately remove sewn garments and don the ihram attire. If he continues to wear sewn garments after entering into the ritual, he incurs a fidyah: fasting for three days, or feeding six poor persons (half a sa' to each poor person), or slaughtering a sheep. If he was ignorant of the ruling, there is nothing upon him, and he must remove the sewn garments as soon as he learns. However, if he continued wearing them while knowing and remembering, he owes the fidyah. The fidyah is waived due to forgetfulness, ignorance, or coercion, and he must remove the sewn garments immediately once the excuse is no longer present.
