The ring of Solomon (peace be upon him) was mentioned in some weak prophetic hadiths that cannot be used as proof. These hadiths do not indicate that it was the cause of his dominion, or that jinn and humans submitted to him because of this ring. Rather, some chroniclers mentioned narratives from the predecessors—taken from the People of the Book—claiming that Solomon's control over jinn and humans was through this ring, and that Satan deceived his wife and took the ring, thereby gaining control of his kingdom. Meticulous scholars rejected this story and clarified its falsehood, stating that it is among the fabrications of the Jews and their lies against the prophets, and that it contradicts the infallibility of the prophets.
