Is it permissible to read the Quran, Hadith, and Surah Al-Baqarah at work with the intention of drawing closer to Allah, seeking healing, and fulfilling needs, and is the reward the same as if the reading were done at home?

It is permissible for an employee to read the Quran and Prophetic Hadeeths at work during leisure time, provided that this does not affect their performance, and they will be rewarded for it. However, if reading affects their work, then it is not permissible for them to do so, because performing work is an obligation (fard) while reading the Quran is supererogatory (nafl), and an obligation takes precedence over a supererogatory act. It is permissible for them to read Surat Al-Baqarah at work seeking healing.
