Does life have meaning in this era?

Life is a great blessing and an opportunity for happiness in this world, and a cultivation for the Hereafter. Allah Almighty said: (He who created death and life to test you which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best of people is he whose life is long and whose deeds are good." A Muslim can utilize life to serve his religion, invite others to it, and strive in its cause, transforming pains into hopes by being content with Allah’s decree and destiny. The believer's entire affair is good, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Wondrous is the affair of the believer, for there is good in every matter of his, and this applies to no one but the believer: if prosperity befalls him, he expresses gratitude to Allah, and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he shows patience, and that is good for him."
