Does a person become unchaste if he commits Zina?

Whoever commits adultery is not described as chaste or pure. However, if he repents sincerely and refrains from sins, then Allah will accept his repentance, because sincere repentance erases what came before it, and one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin, as Allah the Almighty said: "And indeed, I am the All-Forgiving to whoever repents, believes, does righteousness, and then is guided."
