Is it permissible to give the meat of the Aqiqah to relatives with whom there is a severance of kin ties, and is one rewarded for that, even if the act is against one's own will?

It is forbidden to abandon a Muslim for more than three days, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not lawful for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three days." Therefore, reconciliation and repelling evil with good are necessary, as stated in the Almighty's saying: "And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] with that which is better, and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend."
