Do the shameful acts my siblings committed against me contradict the teachings of Islam and the meaning of upholding the ties of kinship? Can upholding the ties of kinship be one-sided? Is my fasting valid while this situation persists?

Allah commanded maintaining kinship ties and forbade severing them, for "a severer of kinship ties will not enter Paradise." If relatives mistreat a Muslim, he should still maintain ties with them kindly, for the one who maintains ties is not the one who reciprocates; rather, the true maintainer of ties is he who connects with his kin when they cut him off. He who does so is as if he feeds the wrongdoer hot ashes, and he will always have a supporter from Allah against them. Boycotting relatives does not affect the validity of fasting, but it does affect its reward and deprives the Muslim of much good, as deeds are presented and everyone is forgiven except those who are in dispute, until they reconcile. One should avoid mixing of genders and photographing women at weddings. Forgiving those who do wrong increases a Muslim in honor, and maintaining kinship ties increases sustenance and life.
