Does the merit of the Hadith: "And a man whom a woman of beauty and high status invites (for illicit sexual relations), but he says: 'I fear Allah,'" also include a woman whom a man of beauty and high status invites, and she says: "I fear Allah," or is this merit exclusive to men?

The reward promised in this hadith applies equally to women and men, except concerning the issue of imamate (leading prayer), which, according to the majority of scholars, is not for women. Al-San'ani said: "There is no actionable mafhum (understood meaning) in his saying: 'And a man who gave charity,' for a woman is likewise, except in the imamate."
