Do an abundance of cats or ants in the house indicate that one is envied?
The symptoms of envy mentioned in Fatwa no. 33341 do not include an abundance of ants and cats. A Muslim should consistently seek refuge (with Allah), and should not imagine that they are envied whenever anything happens, for fear of falling into obsessive whispering (waswasa).
