Urine impurity after it dries—and similarly, the حكمية (legal/constructive) impurity—becomes pure by running water over it, such as placing it in a washing machine and pouring water over it. It is sufficient for water to run over it once after another. As for عين النجاسة (tangible/substantive impurity), it does not become pure except by the removal of the substance of the impurity itself.
