Is a washing machine considered impure after washing clothes contaminated with urine or menstrual blood in it, or does the water flowing from the tap purify it automatically, thereby permitting ablution from it without additional purification?

Pouring water on a garment purifies it if the impurity is removed. The water that separates after passing over the impurity is called ghusalah (wash water). Jurists have agreed on the impurity of ghusalah if it has changed due to the impurity. However, if it has not changed, they have differed: The Malikis consider it pure absolutely. The Shafi'is and Hanbalis consider it pure if it reaches two qullas or more, but if it is less than that, its ruling is the same as the ruling of the place from which it separated. The preponderant opinion is that the ruling of the ghusalah is the ruling of the place from which it separated: if it separated from a place that is still impure, then it is impure; and if it separated from a pure place, then it is pure.
