How does one pray for people who practice sorcery and harm them, with good supplications such as preservation and healing, while at other times praying against them for their cunning to be repelled? And will their supplication for good for them be answered if they are under the influence of sorcery? And to which of the two supplications will Allah respond?

A Muslim should regularly perform the divine fortifications and the narrated incantations. It is not permissible to accuse people of sorcery or to supplicate against a specific person without evidence. However, it is permissible to supplicate against the oppressor in general, and the supplication of the oppressed is answered. It is better to supplicate for guidance and to keep away from magic and its practitioners.
