How many people can share in a single sacrifice of a cow or a camel, and is the number determined by the type of sacrifice, its weight, or its price, and how is the sacrifice to be divided legally among the participants?

It is permissible for seven people or fewer to share in the sacrifice of a camel or a cow, dividing it equally among themselves. The share of each of them will suffice for his family and household. As for sheep, one sheep is only sufficient for a man and his household. If the conditions for the sacrifice are met, it is valid, and its weight or price are not taken into consideration.
