Is not eating from the Udhiyah until the second day of Eid, under the pretext that it is an ancestral custom, a violation of Allah's Sharia?

The Sunnah for the sacrificer is to eat from his sacrifice, give in charity, and save, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Then eat thereof and feed the distressed, the poor." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would not eat on the Day of Sacrifice until he returned and ate from his sacrifice. What some people do, not eating from the sacrifice until the following day, is contrary to the Sunnah, and making that a habit is an innovation.
