What is the way to get rid of excessive fear concerning worldly destiny for children, and the anxiety and fear that this feeling causes?
Excessive fear of calamities contradicts having a good opinion of Allah and relying on Him. It must be dispelled by strengthening faith, remembering Allah, and having a good opinion of Him. All of the believer's affairs are good: if he is touched by prosperity, he is grateful, and that is good for him; and if he is touched by adversity, he is patient, and that is good for him. What was destined to befall a person would not have missed him, and what missed him was not destined to befall him. This fear is a deception from Iblis, and its cure lies in frequently reciting the Quran, maintaining morning and evening remembrances, fulfilling obligations, and having a good opinion of Allah.
