Is one obligated to do something in reality if an oath was sworn or a vow made verbally to oneself between wakefulness and dreaming (in the stage of awakening) concerning something that happened in the dream?

If a person takes an oath while asleep, or before fully waking up and regaining consciousness, then their oath is not binding, and they are not liable for anything if they break it. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The pen has been lifted from three: ...and from the sleeper until he awakens."
