What should one do who finds a lost pack of cigarettes and takes it, and have scholars discussed forbidden lost property (luqatah)?

If a person finds a lost cigarette pack, it is not considered a Luqata (found item) that needs to be announced. Rather, they should destroy it, because it is unrespected property. Returning it to its owner would be assisting in something forbidden and causing harm to him. A Luqata is defined as: "Lost, respected property whose rightful owner is unknown to the finder." Cigarettes are not respected, just like alcohol and pork.
