What can I do to please my deceased father, who was displeased with me, and to ease my conscience?

A child must be dutiful to their father and avoid displeasing him. If the child has wronged him, they must seek forgiveness and pardon if the father is alive. However, if the father died while displeased, the son must repent and seek forgiveness, and perform righteous deeds for the father after his death, such as giving charity, supplicating for him, and seeking forgiveness for him, in order to atone for his rights.
