Is it permissible for a young man in charge of a buffet that sells cigarettes—despite his aversion to them—to continue in this job, which increases his days off, with the intention of telling anyone who asks for cigarettes to take them himself?

Cigarettes are Islamically prohibited in terms of smoking, selling, buying, and assisting in their trade, due to the harms they cause, their being a form of extravagance and wastefulness, and because when Allah prohibits something, He prohibits its price. Furthermore, selling them falls under cooperating in sin and transgression. Therefore, working in a buffet that sells tobacco is forbidden, and one should abandon it seeking the pleasure of Allah.
