It is impermissible to strike a worker, as it is a grave transgression from which the Sharia has warned. Indeed, the bankrupt on the Day of Resurrection is he who struck this one and insulted that one.

One must be forbearing, forgiving, pardoning, and "speak kindly to people," and "speak that which is best," for Satan incites discord among them.

This is achieved by abandoning self-love and superiority over others, and by adopting humility; as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah has revealed to me that you should be humble so that no one boasts over another, and no one oppresses another."

"The believers are but brethren," and they have great rights upon one another. Previous fatwas have clarified the virtue of forgiveness and pardoning.

As for teaching the worker what he asks about, it is not obligatory unless it is part of the contract or custom. However, teaching him voluntarily and guiding him to what is right holds great reward.
