Is it permissible to quit one's job if the manager does not pray or fast, transgresses against Allah, and intentionally humiliates employees?
The manager must possess Islamic manners and good character when dealing with his subordinates, following the example of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who never cursed or insulted his servant Anas. For noble character unites hearts, while harshness repels people, as Allah Almighty said: ﴿So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you.﴾ The questioner should be patient and try to remove the causes of humiliation. If that does not work, then it is not advisable to stay, for the Muslim's soul is too noble to accept humiliation and degradation, and Allah's provision is vast.
